Homeopathic remedies are prepared by a process of serial dilution and shaking known as potentization. The more homeopathic remedies are diluted and shaken, the stronger their action becomes. Chemically, the substance becomes more and more dilute. Clinically, however, Hahnemann found that the more a substance was potentized, the less often it needed to be given to the patient to produce a curative action and the deeper was its effect. Now, over 150 years after Hahnemann’s death, homeopaths continue to validate this observation and cure patients with what seems to be in infinitesimally small doses of natural substances.
1. Why are homeopathic drops preferred over injectable HCG?
Homeopathic drops are more convenient overall than HCG injections. The drops are less expensive and do not require a medical exam from our doctor, which saves you time. Also, most people are more comfortable with taking drops by mouth than administering injections. Injectable HCG must be refrigerated and has a shorter shelf life than homeopathic drops.
2. Is homeopathic HCG “real” HCG and do all homeopathic HCG drops work?
If you purchase your homeopathic HCG drops from a reputable vendor that sells high-quality drops made in a USA FDA-approved laboratory and “Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG)” is listed in the ingredients, you should be o.k.
Be on the lookout for “HCG Drops” that list a bunch of amino acids and other vitamins but do not list “Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG)”. This is not the real hormone; you’ll most likely have a lower rate of loss, experience hunger and struggle to stay on the protocol. There can be many formulations but having real HCG as the base ingredient is critical to obtaining the expected weight loss results.
3. Do you inject homeopathic HCG?
No. Homeopathic HCG is taken sublingually, which means that you place the drops under your tongue allowing them to absorb into the body. At Onelife, we make sure all our clients know exactly how to administer their chosen form of HCG before beginning their “round.”
4. Why doesn’t homeopathic HCG that has an alcohol base need to be refrigerated?
The alcohol acts as a preservative and so it is not necessary, especially if you are going to use the entire bottle in your current “round” of the diet. However, if you do not use the entire bottle and want to save it for your next round close the bottle tightly and put in the refrigerator where it will be good for up to 4 months.
5. When does homeopathic HCG expire?
Homeopathic HCG that is unopened and kept in a cool, dry place usually has an expiration date of 2 years from the manufacture date for mineral water-based drops and 5 years from the manufacture date for alcohol-based drops. However, once the bottle is opened/used, homeopathic HCG typically has a shelf life of about 4 months if kept in the refrigerator. After 4 months, the drops will likely begin to lose some potency, even if refrigerated.
